Sold Out is a listings site for electronic music events. It does not sell tickets: it publishes the dates and links to the platform each promoter sells on.

This policy sets out what personal data the site receives, the purpose for which it is processed, who it is shared with, and how to request its removal.

Only what the person provides, in one of the following cases:

If you ask to be told about an event.

We keep your email address, which alert you asked for and the date. We don't ask for your name or phone number.

If you write to us through the contact form.

We keep your name, your email, the message and, if you fill it in, your WhatsApp number.

If you post a review.

We keep the name you sign it with and the text. Both are published on the site and are visible to any visitor.

If you turn on notifications.

Your browser generates a technical address so we can send them to that device. It doesn't contain your name or your email.

In addition, the site records clicks on the buttons that link to a sales platform or a WhatsApp group. That record contains nothing that identifies the person.

• No record is kept of the pages each person visits.
• IP addresses are not stored. They are used transiently to limit automated use, and the servers that deliver the site process them as any internet server does.

Each item of data is used for the purpose it was given for, and for no other: the reminder email address, to send that reminder; the contact form data, to answer the enquiry; the review, to publish it alongside the event it concerns.

Email addresses are not sold, transferred or rented, nor used to send communications other than those requested.

The only list that receives general news is "Sold Out news", subscribed to expressly from the Community.

Data is not shared with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes, and is not sold.

To operate, the site relies on service providers (hosting, email delivery and visit measurement) that process the data on behalf of Sold Out and solely to provide that service.

Certain content is loaded from external services. For example, a video thumbnail is served by YouTube. In those cases, that service receives the request made by the person's browser.

Data is retained while the reason it was given still applies. No automatic deletion period is applied: an address remains until removal is requested, which is immediate.

Email alerts.

Every message includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom, with two options: that one alert or all of them.

Notifications.

They're turned off with the button below, or by revoking the permission in your browser settings. Note that unsubscribing from the emails does not turn off notifications: they're two separate systems and we have no way of linking them.

Any other data.

Removal can be requested by email at hola@soldout.ar

The site uses three of its own cookies, and none from third parties or advertising. One remembers the language you chose, for a year. The other two are for measurement: one groups the clicks of a single visit without identifying you and lasts 180 days; the other records which WhatsApp group you came from and lasts 30.

The two measurement cookies are not set on arrival: they are created only if a purchase or group button is used. That is why no cookie notice is shown: anyone browsing the listings receives none.
